Refitted by Balk Shipyard, The Netherlands in 2017, the M/Y Sandalphon is currently undergoing an upgrade to allow the 31-meter vessel to carry a submersible. This provides for an increase in the capacity of its deck crane to ensure the safe working load of the sub is integrated.  The owner describes M/Y Sandalphon as “an elegant explorer” –  and with the addition of a NEMO, he will be able to explore the deep as well.
